Mrs. Yvonne Williams transitioned from earth to her heavenly home on May 13, 2013 in Diboll, Texas on a beautiful sunny afternoon, which was precipitated by a tragic car accident. Yvonne was the third child born to the union of the late Isaac and Magnolia Lewis in Pickens, Arkansas on July 31, 1949. Yvonne was a 1967 honor graduate of A.L. Reed High School, Dumas, Arkansas and a 1971 graduate of Philander Smith College where she participated/won several beauty contests. After graduation she was employed as an office manager with SCAN and in 1977 was united in matrimony to Robert "Say" McIntosh. Three children were born into this union. In 1991 she relocated to Houston, Texas and was employed by Sears and 3 Day Blinds until her retirement in 2012. While working for the company she received many awards and recognitions for outstanding performance in sales and customer service. She was a devoted, loving and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother. She was actively involved in her kid's education and served as room mom and on the PTA. She served at several churches before making Parkway Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas her permanent home. Her most rewarding activity over the last 18 years however, was her involvement with her grandchildren's various sports events, school activities, parties and programs. In 1992 she married her childhood sweetheart, Johnny Williams in Houston Texas. They continue to own and operate a licensed child care family operated day care. She was preceded in death by her her devoted husband, Johnny Williams; three children, LaKesha McIntosh-Stredic (Vincent); Robin McIntosh-Jenkins (Vincent); John Paul McIntosh; ten grandchildren all of Houston; one brother, Isaac Lewis Jr. (Ocie) of Little Rock; four sisters, Hazel Morgan of Little Rock, Win Malder Morgan of Chicago, Johnnie Marie Branch (Samuel) of Maumelle; Maude Hickey of Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday May 19, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Mortuary Chapel, 1201 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Little Rock. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2013, 11 a.m. at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 8205 Hwy. 161 N, North Little Rock, Ark.
