Gary Leroy Franzen

Gary Leroy Franzen, 66 was born to Lyle And Florence Thompson Franzen on October 30, 1946 in Willmar, Minnesota and died on May 19, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Franzen was a retired Major of the United States Air Force. He was presently employed as the Junior ROTC Instructor at the Jacksonville High School. He loved the outdoors, biking, hiking, kayaking, and walking. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Covey Franzen, a son, Brandon Franzen of Searcy, three daughters, Stephanie Smith (Michael) of Bald Knob, Kimberly Franzen of Salsbury, England, Courtney Franzen Chase (Travis) Pensacola, Florida, a foster child, Melanie Proest, two grandchildren, Katlin and Cierra Smith, and many friends.
