William (Bill) Earl Winder

William (Bill) Earl Winder, of Bryant, passed away on Oct. 30, 2013 as a result of complications from a recent illness; he was 54 years old. As a child, Bill took an early interest in all things mechanical. He very much enjoyed working on anything with wheels. Bill spent the vast majority of his life in the automotive industry, most recently employed by Steve Landers Dodge and Frank Fletcher Dodge. He spent a great deal of time at I-30 Speeedway in Little Rock spending time with friends and helping work on race cars. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Robert; his brother, Jeff and his eldest son, Brian. He is survived by his mother, Norma; brother, Roben and wife Elva; sister, Ellen Reese; brother, Bob and wife Sheree and two sons, Aaron and Matthew. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 10 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Bill's Memory.
