Clifford Ray Pearson, Sr. died Monday, November 4, 2013. He was born to Alfred Jefferson and Lucinda Hickman Pearson in Greenbrier, Arkansas, on August 15, 1925. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jo-Lynn; children, Clifford Pearson Jr. (Ginger), Peggy Pearson, Donna Monroe (Jeffery), Cynthia Fiegel (Donald), Janice Lisk (Keith); grandchildren, Clifford III, Laura, and Daniel Pearson, Rachel Delong, Joshua, Benjamin, Seth, Timothy, Caleb, Gabriel, Joseph, Sarah, and Susannah Monroe, and Elizabeth Isaac, Justin and Christopher Fiegel; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Charlene Browning. Mr. Pearson is preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Cleatus, Quentin, Edgar, and Woodrow Pearson; sisters, Ruby Chastain, Fern Knight, and Opal Gray; grandson, Josiah Monroe. Clifford was a WWII veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, Army artillery, pulling 105 howitzers as a truck driver. Always a truck driver, Cliff drove for Timex, Superior, Strickland Transportation, Wilson Freight, retired from Yellow Freight where he was called "Bullet," then taught at Diesel Driving Academy and parked cars for events at War Memorial Stadium. He was loved by his family and affectionately known as "Deeda." Because of the hope God has given us through Jesus Christ, we'll see you in Heaven, Deeda! Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, with the service at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Remount Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
