Jessie Lou Lusby

Jessie Lou Walker Lusby of Malvern, Arkansas, died on November 3, 2013 at Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born in Bauxite, Arkansas on April 12, 1941. Her parents were J. Frank and Erline Smith Walker. She is survived by two daughters, Ronda Wells of Camden, Arkansas and Rebecca Choquette of Norfolk, Virginia; brother, John F. Walker of Hot Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nephews and numerous cousins. She held a BS in Social Work from Southern Arkansas University and a MSW from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was a social worker at Ouachita County Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, for the US Air Force and in private practice as a therapist. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, Camden, Arkansas 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7. Interment of cremains will be at Johnson Cemetery, Cleveland County at 3 p.m. The family requests that memorial gifts be made to Arkansas Hospice, Mercy Hospital, 300 Werner Street, Hot Springs, Ark. 71913.
