He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Burns; daughter, Beverly Burns; father, Eddie Burns, Sr.; mother, Ida Mae Burns; brother, Haile Burns. He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Vanessa, Valerie, Teresa, Keith Burns, Anthony Hunt; siblings, Geneva Jordan, Eddie Burns, Floyd Burns, Deborah Bester; step-daughter, Casandra Sneed; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
