John Steven Underwood

John Steven "Steve" Underwood, 57, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on October 5, 1956, in Kennett, Missouri, and was the son of Charles W. and Joyce Harmon Underwood. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Underwood. Survivors include his father, Charles W. Underwood of Piggott, Arkansas; brother, Chuck Underwood and wife Dianne of White House, Tennessee; sister, Nancy Holder and husband John of Conway, Arkansas; niece, Katie Holder of Little Rock, Arkansas; nephew, Rob Holder and wife Jenny of Alexandria, Louisiana; great-nephew, John Holder; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jeremy Pierce officiating. Visitation will begin Saturday at 12 p.m. (noon) until service time.
