Lucas Allen Winberry, 7, of Malvern passed away on Nov. 21, 2013. He was a miracle baby that was born on May 18, 2006 in Little Rock to Ronnie and Katherine Winberry. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Mary F. Winberry and Trula Fox. Lucas was an entertainer, he loved to talk and make people laugh. He loved animals and treated them with special care. He was a second grader at Glen Rose Elementary. Lucas knew big trucks, as he spent a lot time at Rich Logistics where he was welcomed as a family member. He could tell you on sight if it was a Peterbilt or Freightliner. His favorite restaurant was J.J.'s Truck Stop. While he loved trucks, he wanted to be a fireman or a policeman when he grew up, he wanted to help people. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Ronnie and Katherine Winberry; his siblings, Scotty (Megan) Winberry, Michael (Crystal) Winberry, Tiffany (Steven) Bowen and Ronnie Winberry Jr; his grandparents, Billy G. Winberry and Greg and Sheila Maddaford; his aunt, Amanda Maddaford; his uncles, Michael and Jason Maddaford; his nieces, Makayla and Allsion; his family from Rich Logistics, Mrs. Betty, Keith, Shannon and the crew and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss his smile and his hugs dearly. The family wishes to thank Dr. Carlos Ramon and the surgical team at Arkansas Specialty Orthopedics Surgery Center for their tirelessly effort to save Lucas. A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. prior to the service at 7. Burial will be private. Please share your memories of Lucas at www.griffinleggettforesthills.com.
