Charles Wayne Martin

Charles Wayne Martin, 82, passed away September 30, 2013, at Baptist Health Medical Center, Heber Springs. Born September 21, 1931, at Floral, he was the son of the late Charley and Glydus (Ferguson) Martin. Mr. Martin retired as superintendent of Heber Springs Street Department in 2012 after 42 years of service. He was an Army veteran and member of First General Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Viola "Bobbie" Martin; sons, Charles, Ronald, and Danny (Shannon) Martin; daughter, Glenda (Buzz) Burton; brothers, Glen and Sherlon (Norma) Martin, all of Heber Springs; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
