Mary Ruth Davis Mischnick

Mary Ruth Davis Mischnick, 86, of North Little Rock, formerly of Lawrence County, died September 17, 2013 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Sherwood. She was born November 5, 1926 in Tyronza to Azro and Marie Grimes Nunnally. She was a homemaker and a member of United Church of God in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winford Davis; son, Carl Lindell Davis; brother, Raymond Nunnally; sister, Ellen Trombley. Survivors include her husband, Alfred Mischnick of the home; sons, Bobby Davis and Larry Davis of Jonesboro, and Joe Davis of Savannah, Georgia; daughter, Evelyn Shafer of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Margie Lantz and Nancy Puckett; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2013, 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral service will immediately follow visitation under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Steven Shafer officiating and Alfred Mischnick giving eulogy. Burial to follow in Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn. Pallbearers are Larry Davis, Joe Davis, Bobby Davis, Derrick Shafer, Carl Puckett,and Robert Puckett.
