She was a graduate of Dumas High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. After teaching for many years in the Dumas School District, Mary Lynn joined the banking family at Union Bank and Trust in Monticello, where she worked for 25 years. She is survived by three sisters: Pat Oswald of Sherwood, Pam Boyette of Dumas, and Debra Hoag of Chicago, Illinois and Marnette Jaggers, who was like a second mother to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis (Sonny Boy) and Frankie Boyette and brother, Danny Boyette. The family wants to offer a special thank you to all the thoughtful people at Union Bank and trust and Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church for all they did to help throughout this long journey. Another great appreciation to her nephrologist, Dr. Shane Kimball of Little Rock and the staff at Baptist Medical Center.
