Amanda E. Mullis

Amanda E. Mullis, 86 of Star City, died Wednesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born December 31, 1927 in Lincoln County to the late Uel and Verna Harris. She was a member of Shell Chapel Presbyterian Church in Pine Bluff, a homemaker and an avid bridge player. Also preceding her in death were her husband, John Mullis and brothers, Gerald Harris, Van Harris, Bernard Harris and Derwood Harris. Survivors include two sons, Scott (Amber) Mullis of Pottsville and Marc Mullis of Ft. Stockton, Texas; one sister, Glenda Weeks of Star City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove Cemetery in Star City. There will be no formal visitation. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
