Don Parrott

Don Parrott, age 88, of Hampton, Ark. (formerly of Warren, Ark.) died Monday August 18, at Chapel Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation. Born September 2, 1925 in New Edinburg, Ark., a son of the late Noel Roy Parrott and Velma Wheeler Parrott, he was a pulpwood contractor and member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death were sons W.D. Parrott, Roy Howard Parrott, brother, Roy Lee Parrott, sisters, Rachel Carter, Evelyne Wieland. Survivors are his wife, Ella Mae Strickland Oliver Parrott. two daughters, Jeannie Sullivan and spouse John and Barbara Ann Ogles all of Warren, Ark.; two step-sons, P.O. Oliver and Bobby Lee Oliver and spouse Josie both of Hampton, Ark.; four grandchildren Shelly Leggio, Houston, TX, Kristin Weeks, New Edinburg, Ark., Suanne Sullivan, Conway, Ark. and Callie Rose Parrott, Pasadena, Texas; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services 10 a.m. Wednesday August 20, Frazer's Chapel. Burial Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg, Ark. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, at Frazer's.
