Marie E. Woods

Marie E. Mullen Woods, 70 years young, of Gravel Ridge, Ark. went home to her Heavenly Father on August 20, 2014. She was born January 11, 1944 in Richland, California to the late Orvel and Beulah (Hoover) Mullen. She is also preceded in death by brothers Sonny Mullen, Floyd Mullen, and Orvel Mullen Jr. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Bobby Woods; daughters, Dawn Moncrief (Lee) of Cabot and Lisa Shockey (Jeremy) and Andrea Woods of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Joshua Moncrief, Alyssa Mooningham, Sarah Moncrief, Shea Shockey, and Adam Moncrief. She will also be missed by her loyal dogs, Chloe and Sophie. Friends and family are cordially invited to gather and celebrate Marie's life of endless love, support, faith and compassion for others at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Gravel Ridge First Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care. Interment will be at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at a later date, with a dove release.
