Don W. Helms, age 66, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born October 1, 1948 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the son of Carl D. and Eudora Calhoun Helms. He was a school teacher for 40 years, taught at Fayetteville Public Schools for 16 years. He was a graduate of Arkadelphia Public Schools, Henderson State University and the University of Missouri. He is survived by a sister, Mary Sue Thomas of Arkadelphia and a nephew, Steve Thomas of Arkadelphia. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at Moore's Chapel.
