Mildred Cornell

Mildred Ada McCarver Cornell, 78, of Little Rock, passed away December 6, 2014. Born in McRae to the late Joshua B. and Neta Hughes McCarver, she was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and the Agape Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Chester Cornell; children, Karen Cornell Anderson (Rob) of Bend, Oregon, Kathy Cornell Gnad of North Little Rock, Christie Cornell Hamaker (Marty) of Little Rock and Chet Cornell, Jr. (Natasha) of Fayetteville; brother, Roy McCarver of Long Beach, California; sister, Lottie Cook of McRae, Ark.; and grandchildren, Austen Gnad, Alexa Anderson, Sam Gnad, Carver Gnad, Eric Hamaker, Ally Hamaker, Sydney Branham and William Cornell. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Orville, Oran and Carroll McCarver. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Arkansas Hospice and Hospice Home Care for the loving care given to Millie and her family. Services will be Thursday, December 11 at 10 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Siegfried Johnson. A reception will follow the service.
