Bernice Hayes

Bernice Hayes, 65, of Little Rock, departed this life on December 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by; father, Sylvester Hayes; mother, Myrtle Doris Hayes; siblings, Geneva Anderson, Marlene Williams, Leroy Hayes, Sammy Q. Hayes. Bernice Hayes graduated from W.M.O Fields High School and completed two years Shorter College after she worked at Hugg & Hall equipment and several years at Sim's Bar-B-Que. She was a proud member of New Hebron Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish wonderful memories; daughter, Sonta Lanell Hayes-James; siblings, Mildred Adams, Ida Eackles, Emma Jean Jones, Roosevelt Hayes; sister-in-law, Ruthie Hayes; special friend, Howard Harrell; grandchildren, Myles, Nia Malcom James; and a host of family and friends.
