Patsy Speer

PATSY SPEER of North Little Rock, formerly of Ft. Smith passed away Jan. 29, 2014. Patsy was born on Dec. 7, 1939 to the late Tommy and Minnie Barnes, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Ft. Smith, Ark. She retired from Whirlpool after 30 years of service. Patsy is survived by one son, Brian Speer, (Regina) of Van Buren, Ark.; two grandchildren, Patricia Diemert (Heath) and Jeffery Speer, (Natalie Carter); two great grandchildren, Jayden and Heather; one sister, Mary Lou Huckaby, (Charles) of Van Buren, Ark.; one brother, Carl Barnes (Cherokee) of Dover, Ark.; special friends, Sharon Dillahunty, Anita Hasty and Mary Etheridge; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Speer; daughter, Tammy Speer; brothers, Tommy and Edward Barnes; and sister, Martha Prince. The family would like to thank Baptist Hospice for the care of Patsy, and a special thanks to Dr. Kimberly Curseen, Trisha and Kristie. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
