GLORIA JEAN TIMBERLAKE O'DELL, 84, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. She was born on Dec. 12, 1929 in Malvern, Ark. to Wilbur Wynn and Erma Jean (Overstreet) Timberlake. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Gloria had many jobs besides being a homemaker, wife and mother, including working as Church Secretary at Grace Presbyterian Church, Counseling at the Arkansas State Hospital and the Arkansas Department of Welfare. After going back to school she worked as a Licensed Psychological Examiner at the Arkansas School for the Blind until she retired. After retiring she became a volunteer at Arkansas Senior Net for years. Her greatest joys in life were her relationship with the Lord and her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Jim O'Dell of Little Rock and John O'Dell of Roland; grandchildren, Aaron Rouby of Tallahassee, Fla., Ryan (Missy) O'Dell of Little Rock, and Lauren O'Dell of the Dominican Republic; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 55 years, Lloyd Curtis O'Dell. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Little Rock Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Whitworth-Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark. Visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 9301 N. Rodney Parham Rd, Little Rock, Ark. 72227.
