Fred Lee Williams Jr.

Fred Lee Williams Jr., 93, of Little Rock was born October 31, 1920 to Fred and Lila Williams and passed away February 18, 2014. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Nassua. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a longtime resident and farmer of Nady and attended the Nady Church of the Nazarene. He loved to hunt, trap and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rose Miller, wife, Sallie Anne, grandchildren: Dante Sims, Khara Spradlin, Joshua Williams and sons: Kendall and Gavin. He is survived by children: Sherry Lipsey of Hammond, La., Debra Worley (Greg) of Mandeville, La., Fred L. Williams (Tim), Gala Self (Danny) of Tichnor, Heath Williams (Kristie) of Almyra; brother, James Williams (Velma) of Tichnor; sisters: Margie Williford of California, Madge Evans of DeWitt, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 20th at Hockenberry Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Nady Church of the Nazarene or Hockenberry Cemetery Association.
