Joe E. Bryant Sr.

Joe E. Bryant Sr., age 67, of North Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born on December 3, 1946 in Summit, Miss., to his parents, Joe Louis Bryant and Vencie Lee McMorris. He professed Christ at an early age. He married Mary Baker in Little Rock, Ark. on January 2, 1978. He worked at Teletype for several years and enjoyed fishing and cooking. Joe will be remembered by his loving wife and their children: Charles Ricks (Sonya), Roxie Bryant, Joe Bryant II, and Chris Bryant;. He is also survived by his mother Vencie Cotten of Little Rock; siblings: Bernell Thompson (Marie) of Milwaukee, Wis.; Ruthie Dillahunty of North Little Rock Ark.; Shirley Wilburn of North Little Rock; Jo Jean Snow (Larry) of Alpharetta, Ga.; Dewayne Cotten of Atlanta, Ga.; grandrchildren: Serenity Smith, Aaliyah Smith, Jordan Sullivan, Cameron Ricks, Sydney Ricks, Caleb Ricks. Predeceased by his father Joe Louis Bryant and two sisters, Mary Elaine Bryant and Jerri Lynn Bryant. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
