Athena "Ann" Cummings

Athena Ann Cummings, age 79, of Jacksonville, passed away on February 25, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on November 10, 1934 in Prescott, Arkansas. Mrs. Cummings was a homemaker who will be remembered for being a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her Lord and Savior and had a caring heart, always making those around her feel loved and welcomed. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifton Cummings and her parents Thurman and Elsie Lewis. Survivors include her three children Vicki Burks of Jonesboro, Debbie Cummings of Sherwood and Russell Cummings of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. Private Family Services will be held at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements are by Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
