Gary "Sparky" Barket

Gary "Sparky" Barket, 67, of Little Rock, Arkansas was embraced by the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was born September 4, 1946 in Pottsville, PA to the late Alfred and Mary Barket. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He graduated from The University of Arkansas and The University of Arkansas Law School in Fayetteville. He was a well-respected member of the bar for almost 43 years. Gary was also licensed to practice law in Missouri. Gary is survived by his loving wife Terry of 37 years, a son, Jonathan Spencer (Whitney) Barket, of Little Rock, one brother, Patrick Lee (Debbie) Barket of Greensboro, N.C., and a host of nieces and many friends. Gary was a friend to all and a stranger to none. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at their home.
