Addye Virginia Cox Reno, 92, of Conway passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born December 23, 1921 to Dr. J.A. Cox and Aurie Hall Cox in Donaldson, Arkansas. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hardin V. Reno; brothers, Hall Cox, Earl Cox, Carl Cox and an infant brother; sisters, Evelyn Stone, Nancy Lambert, Helen Bettis, Agee Ayers and Bobbye O'Kelley. She was the last living descendent of her birth family. She is survived by her son, John H. Reno (Judy); daughter, Ann Norman (Mike); grandchildren, John C. Reno, Jamie Reno Ryan (Chris), Hannah Norman and Andrew Norman; great-grandchildren, Jackson Reno, Noah Ryan and Anna Grace Reno Ryan and brother-in-law, J.F. "Felton" O'Kelley all of Conway. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her greatest joys were cooking for her family and growing flowers. She was a member of Conway's First Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 8 at 11:00am at Regency Funeral Home, in Malvern, with Reverend Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Ouachita Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Conway's First Methodist Church Children's Fund, Arkansas Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
