Elaine Ramone Carpenter

On January 6, 2014, Elaine Ramone Carpenter, 65, was called home. Elaine was born August 22, 1948 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was a living testament of God's love and mercy. Elaine is survived by her son, Eddy (JoAnna) Carpenter of Lonoke; step-son, Les Carpenter of Lonoke; grandchildren, Edi Carpenter of Jacksonville, Justin Carpenter and Nicholas Carpenter of Lonoke; great-granddaughter, Harper Summers of Jacksonville; her mother, Virginia Roe of Lonoke, sister, Evelyn Lenard of Austin; brother, Jimmie (Shelia) Johnson of Lonoke; sister, Jannie (Ron) Anderson of North Little Rock, as well as many much loved extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Johnson of Indiana, step-father, Edward Roe, step-son, Jeffrey Carpenter and brother, Jerry Johnson all of Lonoke. Family will receive friends, Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
