June Griffin

Our beloved mother, June Griffin, passed away on January 6, 2014. She was born in Lumber City, Georgia on December 27, 1938. She is survived by two daughters: Jill Wirzfeld (Rob) of Mabelvale, Ark., Karen Harris (Alan) of Austin, Ark., three grandchildren: Casey, Katelyn, and Haley, also survived by two sisters: Inez Varnadoe and Alice Scruggs of Georgia along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A long time friend and colleague Danny Thomas and family. June worked for the Danny Thomas Company for over 27 years as their Senior Accountant. She was a loyal, dedicated, irreplaceable, hard working associate. She was a former square dancer and avid reader. She loved working with her flowers and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was an all-star basketball player at Lumber City High School. She always enjoyed her vacations with her Georgia family members and friends. She was always very supportive of her family and only wanted the best for all of us and to always be happy. She will always remain in our hearts. Rest in peace our dear momma until we meet again.
