MARK ALLEN TROTTER of Little Rock joined his beloved Nanna, Papaw, Aunt Betty Jo, and Uncle David in Heaven on Jan. 10, 2014, of complications from pneumonia. He was born Aug. 29, 1971, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert Obel and Rubye Cagle Roberds; his paternal grandmother, Willia Lou Trotter; aunt and uncle, Ronald E. and Betty Jo Lee; uncle David Carey Roberds; and cousins: Elaine Watson Garner, Matthew Lee, Andrew Pickens Stewart, and Thomas Charles Warren; and canine companions, Heidi, Lady, Mitzi, and Daisy. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Carol Roberds Trotter, of Little Rock; Arthur R. Armstrong of Little Rock, who treated him as a son; father, Carl A. Trotter of Alexander; his favorite uncle, James F. Roberds of Blytheville; cousins, Stewart Carlton Watson of Alexander, Couie Farrell Roberds Walker of Calion, Melanie Trotter Travis of Norman, Okla., Kai Len Lee of San Mateo, Calif.; childhood friend, Chris Cooper of Little Rock; and many other relatives and friends. Mark graduated from Central High School, attended UA Little Rock, and was an information services technician for Central Arkansas Library System, and DBA, Inc. until his automobile accident May 15, 1997. He was a caring and loving son and cousin, and a loyal and devoted friend. A talented musician, he was proficient in bass and lead guitar, tenor saxophone, and was learning keyboard at the time of his accident. His injuries were such that he resided at the Arkansas Health Center, Benton, Ark., until his death. His mother wishes to thank the administration and staff at AHC, especially Michael and Dale, who he considered his "brothers from another mother." All of you went out of your way to care for and entertain Mark and to express your love for him. You are truly appreciated. Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300.
