JEAN HOLLEY, 69, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. She was born on Oct. 22, 1944 in Monticello, Ark. to H.C. and Ruby Cotton. She was an active member of Amboy United Methodist Church. Jean retired as the office manager of Little Rock Crate and Basket after almost 30 years. She volunteered her time and talents to Boy Scout Troop 431, where she was a treasurer and mentor for the past 25 years. She was also Treasurer of Amboy Neighborhood Association and participated in the Community Bible Study at Central Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry Holley; two sons, Michael Holley and wife Tesha, David Holley and wife Brandy; three grandchildren, Austin Holley, Anna Holley and Levi Holley, all of North Little Rock; three sisters, Corine Ewing and husband Stan, of Morrilton, Louise Gee and husband John, of Midland, Texas and Margaret Martin and husband Gary, of Pine Bluff; brother-in-law, Dennis Holley and wife Joy, of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Dorothy Watts and Margie Cotton, all of Monticello. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Quapaw Area Council Boy Scouts of America or Amboy United Methodist Church.
