Lillie E. Hagar

Lillie E. Hagar, 93 a long time resident of Bald Knob, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Searcy. She was born Monday, January 17, 1921 in Marvell, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Levi Pettie and Eddie Hess Pettie. She was the wife of the late O.F. Hagar. She was a member of the Russell Missionary Baptist Church since 1969. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Brown and husband Butch of Holly Springs, Barbara Blakley of Searcy; one son, Kenneth Hagar and wife Kim of Athens, Alabama; five grandchildren, Nancy Hubbard, Leslie Cooley, Randy Brown, Nicholas Hagar, Brandon Hagar; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Carter Cemetery at Russell.
