Rebecca C. Morriss

One of God's angels received her wings on Monday, June 30, 2014. Dr. Rebecca C. Morriss of Little Rock passed away surrounded with the love of family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rebecca was born in Newport, Rhode Island on April 15, 1957. Preceded in death by her father, William Chadwell Jr. and her brother, Richard Chadwell, she is survived by her husband, Michael Morriss of Little Rock; mother, Letha Chadwell of Greers Ferry; sister, Cynthia Broyles of Fayetteville; brothers, Charlie Chadwell of Ravensdale, WA and Billy Chadwell, of Richfield, Minn.; and the love of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501)224-8300. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Pearson Cemetery, Pearson, Ark. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
