Mildred Clair LaFort, 90, Jacksonville, born July 15, 1923, passed away July 2, 2014. She was a member of St. Jude.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Michael LaFort; daughter, Paulette LaFort; son, Thomas LaFort; five brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by his children, Lorraine (Frank) Hall of Indianapolis, Ind., Michael (Beverly) LaFort of Bossier City, La., and Robert (Teresa) LaFort of Jacksonville, Ark.; grandchildren, Jim Hall of Encinitas, Calif., Katherine Reed of Indianiapolis, Ind., Renee LaFort of Stoughton, Mass, Michelle LaFort of Jacksonville, Ark., Chris McPheeters of Bryant, Ark., Jeff Taylor of Princeton, La., Timothy Stone of Sacramento, Calif.; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Vadney of Jacksonville, Ark. and Myra McCarthy of Ocala, Fla.
