Don Lazell Hale

Don Lazell Hale, 73 of Bryant, passed away in Little Rock on July 3, 2014. He was born Nov. 23, 1940 to the late Thomas Lazell Hale and Grace (Rice) Hale in Benton. He was a welder for Davis Truck & Trailer, a member of First Southern Baptist Church and Modern Woodmen of the World. His favorite pastime was fishing with his wife, Bea. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Bea (Alford) Hale; sister, Arnell Shelton of Benton; sister-in-laws, Connie Alford of Bryant, Janice Richards of Conway, Dianne Meriweather (Dale) of Mabelvale, Geneva Healey (Virgil) of Jacksonville and Thelma Alford of Kansas; a host of nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2014 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) in Benton.
