Paula Rose Lawrence

PAULA ROSE LAWRENCE, 88, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014. She was born July 21, 1925 in Little Rock to Robert and Marie Weare. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Lawrence; her twin brother, Paul Weare; brother, Gene Weare; and sister, Madlyn Slaughter. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, George Showmar and wife Jean of Mabelvale and Don Showmar and wife Mary Alice of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Rodney Showmar and wife Shelly of Little Rock, Dawn Berry and husband Doug of Little Rock, and Samuel Showmar of Mabelvale; and by three great-grandchildren, Brandon Showmar, Austin Berry and Mary Morgan Berry. Rosary will be Monday, July 21, at 6 p.m. with a visitation following until 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Father Mark Wood as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
