Robert Kemp

Robert Kemp, 63, of Ward, Ark. passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. The son of Troy and Mary Sue Bell Kemp, he was born December 16, 1950 in Little Rock, Ark. He attended Arkansas Tech University and was a United States Air Force veteran of the War in Vietnam. Robert married Pat Kemp on September 12, 1969. He was a Service Tech with Xerox for 32 years. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing video games, and working puzzles. He loved spending time with family and playing with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary Kemp; one half-brother and one half-sister. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Pat Kemp of Ward; two sons, John Kemp of North Little Rock and David Kemp of Ward; one grandson, Tristen Kemp of Ward; one step-grandson, Seth Blackwell of North Little Rock; one brother, John Kemp Frennett (Rena) of North Ben, Ore. Memorial service will be held at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery Pavilion, 1501 West Marland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. 72120, Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
