Evelyn Weeks

Evelyn Darnell Weeks, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years Lloyd H. Weeks. She retired after 26 years of service from North Little Rock School District, where she was a child nutritionist and received the Earnestine Camp Award of Excellence. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Seales (Lester) of North Little Rock; son, Steven Weeks, of North Little Rock; brothers, Albert Darnell, of Lost Creek, West Virginia, Doug Darnell, of Woodbridge, Virginia; sister, Jo‘Ann Mullins, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Adam Dickens (Candi) of Mayflower, Bonnie Baker (Demetrius) of Little Rock, Lester W. Seales, Jr. of North Little Rock; Lisa Hunt (Nate) of North Little Rock; five great-grandchildren; a very dear friend and her daughter, Barbara and Angela Kubaiko; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home with Gene Harrell officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
