CYREL "CP" PALMER, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was born Sept. 9, 1925 to the late P.A. and Ella Hall Palmer in Enola, Ark., Faulkner County. He was a member of Highway Baptist Church, retired from Chicopee after 25 years and was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Argus, Vernon, Dean, Quinton, and Billy Palmer; and sisters, Mildred Fincher, Mignon Wallace and Octavia Palmer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anna Palmer; sister, Avanell Reeves, of Warren; four children, Samuel Palmer and wife, Tricia of Sherwood, Harrell Palmer, of Austin, Nancy Burnett and husband, Fred, of Greenbrier and Julie Nailling and husband, Karl of Cabot; five grandchildren, Lindsay Palmer Richardson, Tom Burnett, Sara Palmer Monroe, Tiffany Leach and Bradley Nailling; and two great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Avery Burnett. He was devoted to his family and dearly loved his wife. He was a Godly man, kind hearted to all that knew him and he will be missed very much. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
