Ouida Geneva Chandler

Ouida Geneva Chandler 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away of natural causes Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born December 3, 1923 in Clinton, Arkansas to Joesph and Martha Ann (Clark) Hunnicutt. Ouida was preceeded in death by her husband of 62 years, Winston. She is survived by her three sons: Winston Jr. (Sharon) of Little Rock; Michael (Linda) of Bryant; and Jeff (Carole) of Little Rock; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Ouida was a member of Little Rock Church for many years. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother, and loved dearly by her grand and great grandchildren. Her dry and sometimes caustic wit will be missed by many. She loved to travel with Winston, enjoying Hawaii and other exotic locales, but her favorite spot on earth was Estes Park, Colorado. Ouida spent many happy hours sitting and gazing at "her" mountains. The family would like to thank the staff of Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care of Ouida over the past several years. They truly loved her, and she them. Memorial Service will held 6 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Little Rock Church, 10701 West Baseline Road, Little Rock, Arkansas. Graveside Service and Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 in Walnut Grove Cemetery Clinton, Arkansas. Officiating Stacy Peters.
