Julie Ahring Shofner, 56, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, March 5 at home surrounded by family after a long bout with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, William L. Ahring, and is survived by her daughter, Olivia Palombo; husband, Kirby Shofner; her mother, Dorothy Ahring; sister, Deborah Ahring, and husband, Kris Katrosh; brother, Steve Ahring; sister, Tracey Ahring; and an abundance of additional family members and friends.
Many thanks go out to Dr. Lawrence Mendelsohn and staff at LRHO, the tenth floor crew at Baptist Medical Center, the nurses at Baptist Health Hospice care, and her wide circle of friends and extended family, all of whom took such good care of her during her illness.
