Earl Harold Hill

Earl Harold Hill, 95, died Saturday. Harold was born in Ragtown, Arkansas February 7, 1919 to William and Pearl Hill. He later moved to Memphis, Tenn. where he attended Messick High School. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Clarendon First United Methodist Church. Harold was a retired employee of Potlatch in Stuttgart, Ark. and loved to spend his time playing golf and visiting with friends and family. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Lila Mae Page Hill; son, Bobby Joe Fisher; brother Russell Hill, and sister Mary Ellen Brooks. He is survived by son Kenneth Fisher and wife Brenda of North Little Rock; a daughter Carolyn Rogers and husband Jesse of Clarendon; six grandchildren: Lynn Rogers, Mark Rogers (Laura), Jeff Rogers, Kristi Fisher, Donna Smiley (Henry); Joe Fisher (Amy); six great-grandchildren, Kenny Rogers (Chasity), Kristen Rogers, Blake Chapman, Colin Fisher, Garrett Fisher, Cade Smiley and one great-great-granddaughter, Alexie Norris. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-2 p.m. at Wesleyan Hall of First United Methodist Church, Clarendon, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Holly Grove, by Brown Funeral Home.
