Jessie Lee (Dunn) Tripp, was born in Tahlequah, Okla., on Oct. 4, 1926, and raised in Sallisaw, Okla. She was called home by her heavenly Father on the evening of March 27, 2014 in Russellville, Ark. She was preceded in death by her father, Jess Thomas Dunn; mother, Edna Flossey Ales; and son, Lamoin Bud Tripp. Jessie met the love of her life while working at the PX at Ft. Sill, Okla. during the early part of the 1940's. They married Jan. 12, 1946, and remained inseparable until her passing. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Clyde Tripp, of Russellville; daughter, Sharon Wilkerson, of North Little Rock; and son, Scott Tripp, of Bauxite. Jessie was blessed with five grandchildren: Paul and Ron Wilkerson, of Little Rock, Callie Barnett, of Haskell, and Noah, and Jessica Tripp, of Bauxite. Additional blessings include three great-grandchildren, Faith, Heidi, and Landon Wilkerson. She was loved by many friends and family and will be truly missed. Jessie was a longtime member of First Assembly of God in Russellville, Ark..
Funeral services will be, Tuesday, April 1 at 10 a.m. at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209, (501) 455-5800 with burial at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Malvern immediately following, Dr. Ronnie Morris officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 31 from 4-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
