Bennie Elizabeth "Cat" Mendenhall

Bennie Elizabeth "Cat" Mendenhall, of Conway, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born in Carlisle, Ark. to the late Archie Alvis and Mary Idas (Matthews) Tipton. Cat enjoyed bowling, bingo, going to the casino and spending time with her family and granchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwain Mendenhall; and her son, David Mendenhall. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Harvey Joe Perry, Eddie (Connie) Brixie, Jeanie (Steve) Otts, Lorranna Johnston, Dean Mendenhall and Twanna Mendenhall; her sister, Betty Webb; her brother, Waldon Tipton; her 34 grandchildren; her 44 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; her nieces and nephews; and host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 1, at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway.
