Nilda Rosa Carrasquillo

Nilda Rosa Carrasquillo, 77, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord Monday, April 28, 2014. She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico to late Juan and Josefina Ramos. Nilda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Nilda was a member of the Catholic Faith. She was a homemaker. Nilda loved spending time with her family and cooking her famous Puerto Rican dishes. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed music, dancing and flowers. She is survived by her husband; Herminio Carrasquillo; and her children; Iris Gabriel (Luis) of Sherwood, Sarah Gabriel (Emilio) of Cleveland, Ohio, Herminio Carrasquillo of Avon, Ohio, Nilda Johnson of Sherwood, Edwin Carrasquillo (Anne Jablonski) of San Jose, Calif., Nancy Banik (Neal) of Germany, and Yvette Compton (Larry) of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Luis III, Matthew, Herminio III, Justin, Jacqueline, James, Rachel, Andrew, Nicholas, and Nia; 17 great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews and extended family.
