Mary Ellen Goforth

Mary Ellen Goforth, 81, of Cabot died Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was born July 19, 1929 in Cabot to the late Oscar and Lecta Greer Peeler. Mrs. Goforth was the secretary and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church for many years. She also worked as a bookkeeper. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goforth was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Goforth. Mrs. Goforth is survived by her daughter, Harolette Goforth of Cabot, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
