BOBBIE LEE HANSFORD LOWRY joined the heavenly choir on Friday afternoon, May 16. Bobbie was the daughter of Ora Lee Gentry Hansford and Wade Franklin Hansford. She was born in Prescott, Ark. on April 28, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Lowry. Bobbie loved church music more than life itself. She served as the secretary and assistant to four previous ministers of music as well as several interim ministers of music at Second Baptist Church Little Rock. Bobbie loved The Lord, her family, and her church without limits. She loved with such a passion that everyone instantly became a part of her family. She adopted babies, children's choir members, teenagers, Lake Nixon workers, college students, handbell ringers, and all of her grandchildrens' friends. Bobbie leaves as her legacy her daughter, Vicki Lowry Haydon and her husband Jon; grandson, Jon Robert Haydon and his wife Maddie; grandson, Michael Haydon and his fiancé-to-be Rebecca Cluts; granddaughter, Chellie Castellanos; granddaughter, Ginger Farrow and husband Jeff. She loved dearly her great-grandchildren, Kyle Thomas Haydon, Isabella and Sophia Castellanos, Riley Taylor and Alexander, and Zachery Farrow. Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock Monday, May 19 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander. A celebration of her life will be at 11:30 a.m. at Second Baptist Church downtown Little Rock.
