Ellie Harville

Ellie Harville, 95, of Hamburg, died Saturday, May 24, 2014. Mrs. Harville was a native and life long resident of Ashley County and Hamburg. She was a homemaker and worked at the Hamburg Shirt Factory for 18 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Uriah Harville in 1998; her parents, Cleveland & Lula Adair Jackson; two brothers, Ben & Buck Jackson; and four sisters, Ruth Nelson, Vivian Hill, Jessie Mae Bates and Olivia Polato. She is survived by two sons, Charles Harville and wife, Suzan, of Batesville and Bobby Harville and wife, Tracy, of Hamburg; two daughters, Joyce Lowry of Crossett and Betty Grantham and husband, Rudy, of Lake Village; a sister, Don Woods Howie of Hamburg; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Wednesday in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Pennington and Rev. Eugene Howie officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
