Joy Lee Alexander McCain of Searcy, Arkansas was born July 18, 1936 in Truman, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Joe McDonald and Queenie Bell Foulks Alexander. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Truman. Mrs. McCain died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Roy Alexander and Joe Mack Alexander, sisters, Linda Moore and Ada Watson, and her precious son, Jimmy Joe McCain. Survivors: husband of 62 years, James Edward McCain of Searcy; son, Steven McCain of Searcy; daughters, Mary Farrow of Sheridan, Sherri Barclay of Iowa, Tina and husband Billy Wilkins of Sherwood; daughter-in-law, Regina McCain of Keiser, sisters, Susie and husband Junior Roach of Jonesboro, Nancy and husband Haskell Jerrolds of Savannah, Tenn., Barbara and husband Sammy Ishmael of Truman; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Pipkin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
