Nona Bernice Springer

Nona Bernice Springer, 83, of North Little Rock passed away on November 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Wes Springer, her parents, Coy and Bonnie Cardin and her brother Coy Cardin, Jr. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Linda Jackson (Marcus) of Sherwood; grandchildren, Lisa Cowden (John) of Atlanta, Ga., Heather Jackson (Karen) of Little Rock and Allison Moody (B.J.) of Conway; the light of her life, her great-grandchildren, Wesley, Lucy and Lucas; sisters, Sammie McCraw (James) of Little Rock and Sybil Fleshman (Curtis) of North Little Rock. Bernice worked as a pharmacy clerk at Levy Drug, Fred's and Smith's Drug and had a love for sewing. She also loved to bake for her extended family at the NLR Fire Department. Bernice was a member of the Crusaders Sunday School Class and Progressive Fellowship at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400) on November 5, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will take place November 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St., North Little Rock, Ark. 72114.
