ERIC YANCEY POWELL, 51, of Little Rock, Ark. made his transition from his earthly life on Nov. 11, 2014 in Chicago, Ill. He was born in Little Rock, Ark. on Aug. 24, 1963 to Lucious and Edith Powell.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents; his daughter, Erica (Terrance) Smith and granddaughter, Jaidah, Detroit, Mich.; his sister, Karen (Allen) Lawrence and niece, Faith, Norcross, Ga.; nephew, D.J. Adams, San Diego, Calif.; a special friend, Valarie Thompson, Chicago, Ill. and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family hour will be held on Thursday evening, Nov. 20, 6-7 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m., both services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1400 Ringo Street, Little Rock, AR. Services entrusted to Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, LR, (501) 372-1305.
