Missionary Mary Williams Blake, 73, of Hot Springs went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014. She was born June 7, 1941 in Arkadelphia to Dewey and Louella Mitchell Williams. Mary was a graduate of the Historic Langston High School Class of 1959. Mary was a former member of Living Waters Church of God In Christ. In 1991, she became the First Lady of Evangelist Temple House of Refuse for All Nations under the leadership of her husband. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Elder Bernis Blake, Sr.; two sons, Bernis Blake, Jr. and William Blake all of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Melody Blake of Southaven, Miss. and Sheri Blake of Jacksonville, Ark.; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Williams of Detroit, Mich.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family. A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at Living Waters Church of God in Christ 306 Grove Street where Elder David Withers is the pastor and Bishop Carl Ratliff, Sr. pastor of Evangelist Temple, Little Rock, Ark. will deliver the message. Visitation will be from 5–7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at Evangelist Temple House of Refuge for All Nations COGIC 1146 Pleasant Street. Guest registry is at http://carriganmemorial.com.
