HERBERT H. HOPKINS, 86, Jacksonville, born Nov. 20, 1928, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 24, 2014. He proudly served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by brothers, Glen and Kermit Hopkins, Gloria-Jean Barrett and Agnes Taylor; parents, Ted and Mattie Hopkins.
Herbert is survived by his lifetime partner, Cynthia Hopkins; children, Elaine Hopkins, Shannon Hopkins, Ricky Hopkins, Gregory Hopkins, Darlene Hopkins; grandchildren, Jordan and Christopher and great-grandchildren, Rowen, Regan and Daniel.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec.1 at Serenity Gardens, 6512 TP White, Jacksonville, Ark.
